Why Law Firms need an AI agent.
Law firms depend on new clients. But when a potential client calls, the lawyers are in meetings, in court, or working on case files. The front office is often not fully staffed. Every unanswered call is a potential lost client who calls the next firm.
Potential clients can't reach the firm and go to a competitor
Lawyers are interrupted during case work by phone calls
Initial inquiries are time-consuming, often without a result
Professional secrecy (§ 43a BRAO) forbids any US cloud usage
“
A client who doesn't reach someone instantly calls the next firm. We estimate we lose ten to twenty mandates per year, simply because nobody picked up.
How the Phone Agent for Law Firms.
Your agent takes the call, captures the case details (practice area, brief description, urgency), the contact information, and books an initial consultation. For urgent cases (arrest, deadline matters), the call is immediately routed to the on-duty lawyer.
Rinqo picks up every call. At night, on weekends, always.
Why Rinqo for law firms, three hard facts on BRAO, GDPR and client-first workflow.
A law firm chooses a phone system not by voice quality but by three legal lines: attorney confidentiality per § 43a BRAO, data processing per Art. 28 GDPR, and AI Act Art. 50 disclosure obligation effective 02.08.2026. Anyone using AI phone assistance for the firm in DACH must fully meet these requirements, otherwise risks professional law sanctions by Bar Association and GDPR fines up to 4% of global annual turnover.
§ 43a BRAO + Art. 28 GDPR
Attorney confidentiality stays, contractually and technically.
Rinqo runs as data processor per Art. 28 GDPR on Hetzner servers in Falkenstein and Nuremberg. DPA is part of every plan and electronically signable, firm documents outsourcing BRAO-compliant. Calls are end-to-end encrypted, client data doesn't leave EU Hetzner VLAN. No US cloud, no Cloud Act exposure. Federal Bar Association published clarification 2024: outsourcing of secretarial tasks to EU data processors with DPA is permissible per § 43a BRAO, Rinqo meets these out-of-the-box.
Client data doesn't land on US LLM servers, never.
Language model runs primarily on Microsoft Azure OpenAI (Microsoft Ireland, Sweden Central) (Equinix infrastructure, EU DPA), fallback on opt-in failover providers, both EU entities without US parent. Rinqo doesn't use OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic-US. When the firm is asked by Federal Bar Association in routine audit which provider processes client calls, the honest answer is: all full-EU. No Schrems-II risks, no third-country data transfer discussion. Phase 4: fully self-hosted on own Hetzner GPU nodes from ~1,000 customers.
Microsoft Azure OpenAI (Microsoft Ireland, Sweden Central) + Microsoft Azure OpenAI (Microsoft Ireland) · no US-cloud LLMs in primary path · Schrems-II compliant
AI Act Art. 50 (effective 02.08.2026)
Transparency obligation fulfilled, before client complaints come.
From 02 August 2026 EU AI Regulation Article 50 requires every caller to clearly know they're talking to AI. At law firms doubly sensitive: clients expect attorney diligence, undeclared AI use is perceived as breach of trust. Rinqo provides disclosure by default at start of each call ("This is the digital assistant of Müller Law Firm, I am an AI"). Wording editable, disclosure cannot be turned off. Fines: up to €15M or 3% of global annual turnover (whichever is higher). Transparency builds trust, callers know what they're dealing with, and openly communicated AI is generally accepted well in practice.
Audio disclosure per call · Wording editable · Fine protection up to €15M

Telephone, chat and email from one platform: business case, ROI, GDPR and integrations.
Sven builds Rinqo from a simple observation: most AI tools are designed in San Francisco and sold in Berlin. The workshop in the Black Forest, the veterinary practice in Salzburg, the family hotel in Tyrol get software that doesn't speak their language. Rinqo flips that. On European servers, set up in ten minutes, in twenty languages. With templates built by the industries themselves.
